Terms
These terms cover your use of know.sh, a personal research notebook, and the know.sh MCP server that lets AI assistants work with it. By signing in you agree to them.
Your content
You own what you put in your notebook. You give us permission to store, process, and display it only as needed to run know.sh for you, including sending it to the assistants you connect when they call a know.sh tool.
Your account
You are responsible for your account and for what the assistants you connect do with the access you grant them. Disconnect an assistant you no longer trust.
Acceptable use
Do not use know.sh to:
- break the law or infringe anyone else's rights;
- store or distribute malware, or content that harms others;
- try to reach another account's data, or get around authentication or rate limits;
- put an unreasonable load on the service, or resell access to it.
The service is provided as-is
know.sh is provided as-is and as-available, without warranties of any kind. It may change, be unavailable, or lose data. Keep your own copy of anything you cannot afford to lose. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for loss of data or profits, arising from your use of know.sh.
Termination
You can stop using know.sh at any time and ask us to delete your account, as described in the privacy policy. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, and we may discontinue the service; where we can, we will give notice first so you can take a copy of your content.
Changes
If these terms change, we update this page and the date at the top. Continuing to use know.sh after a change means you accept it.
